My name is Abby and I am a first grade teacher, who also happens to be a cooking enthusiast.  I spend most of my school year teaching 6 and 7 year olds how to read, write, and do arithmetic, which leaves very little time to explore in the kitchen.  In November, I decided to try a gluten-free diet, which I have come to love, but have realized there is little out there in the gluten-free market.  So I have been exploring new recipes and new concoctions on a weekly basis, as much as I could while teaching.  Once school was out for the summer and I settled down a bit, I wanted to give myself a challenge – one that I would enjoy.  With more time on my hands, I wanted to cook one new recipe each weekday.  Here I will record my attempts, successes, failures, and recipes as I go along.  Thanks for visiting!
